DC Smoke wrote: Stay at the Flying Pig Downtown Hostel. Its cheap, its clean, its safe, its a 2 min walk from 4 or 5 different coffeeshops and a 4min walk to 2 different tram stops. Its also smoker friendly!! They have a smoking room and an outdoor patio. Did I mention free breakfast and a big screen tv?
Can you remember which ones? I'm staying there in June and it'd be cool to know whats nearby

Are you ready...

These are what I can remember within 2 mins walk of there...

Prix D'ami
Route 99
Blues Brothers
420
De Kroon
Coffeeshop Ben
El Guapo
The Doors
Bulldog
Rokerij II

Sorry this is getting boring. Virtually every coffeeshop from the shopping street is withn 2 mins walk. That is a lot of shops :)

The main tram routes out of Centraal go either side of the hostel. It is at the top the the shopping street, really everything is near it.

420, De Kroon, Blues Bro's are less than 2 min away... Grasshopper, Barney's, Green House are about 7-10min stroll
