Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

Myself and 4 friends are hitting Amsterdam in June for a long weekend and as its been 10 years since I have been there,has anyone got any must do/see/try/etc. recomendations.

if all of you are ok with this, then I would not plan anything, but just organise bikes for you, a good map of Amsterdam and there you go, you will always find something nice to do

Go to Picasso when you arrive, score, have a smoke and a decent coffee then wander where your legs take you. Keep the coffeeshop map near you and just go, if theres any cool coffeeshops near you go in score and have a smoke. Dont get stuck in the coffeeshops the whole time.

Must visit places in my books are the
Heni Experience ( i like my beer )
Vondel Park ( theres no better place to trip on shrooms )
Art Gallerys ( whatever one takes your fancy, the Van Gough one is very good.)
RLD for a wander, i also majorly recommend the walking tour of the RLD, this is very very good and entertaining when stoned as it takes the paranoia out of being in the RLD as your being guided.

There is of course many more, and youll find some interesting stuff to do man. I would consider seriously the Ganja Tours run by MileHigh. I would go for the walking one, as after a good day of smoking my bike riding abilty goes to shit.

is the College the same place then the hash marijuana hemp museum? i never been to either so i dont know

no, two different places, but I would say the garden is much more interesting than the museum. they have very beautiful plants there, still a highlight for me

Try the ajax Arena also.

Go for a beer in Teasers on Damrak opposite the Grasshopper. The girls that work there are the best in Amsterdam. Get in there about 10pm when it's in full swing.
