Also, does anybody know whether the 5 mentioned above are open or closed at present? Would save me a journey if its closed
thanks for any help
I was in Eindhoven in mid Feb' and whilst walking around looking for The Wall coffeeshop i had to stop a dutch man to ask for directions, and was told that someone was killed in there a week prior to my visit so the place was then closed.
Im not sure if they have reopened since.
Look out for a Coffeeshop Called "De Bakkerij" they are in the main square were theres a church with a big clock tower, not far from Grasshopper. De Bakkerij had some excellent Snow Whitey, the price was something like 6.50 per gram, after buying a gram and blazing half a spliff i went and got 10grams more.

Thank you bigdaddyk.
Searched the web for this thing with the wall. When I was there recently everything was as usual. It's not closed.
Currently only New Wave and Pink Panther are closed.

the wall is a take away only shop, u cant smoke in there, only buy. i had a preroll for about 3 euro n it wasnt bad. the highlander aswell is a take away only. unless your going to visit the prossies dont bother going to the wall its a bus ride out of the centre, n the bus drivers arent very helpfull in eindhoven

After the smoking ban The Wall-Coffeeshop went a take-away-place but now you can smoke there again.
But it's not a very inviting place in my opinion(not many seats, dark.). Nevertheless their gear is pretty good. Especially their royal hash for 10 €. Their weed menu always contains two or three haze strains(house brands and more famous ones).
Go, buy and smoke elsewhere I would suggest.
To the Highlander I haven't been in ages. Kind of a locals place and this means in Eindhoven that there is only a standard menu with e.g. no hazes etc..
By the way, Bigdaddyk: I like your "dam aint the only place in nl"-signature

cheers
one way eindhoven to amsterdam is about 18e full fare. its a nice ride out (80mins) and, as liquidswords mentioned elsewhere, passes a few top football grounds. (hey LS did you miss fc utrecht behind the trees?). as with all dutch trains, they're frequent enough too. enjoy.

Going myself on the 11th June, the coffee shops mentioned are about the size of the research I done on here and elsewhere.
Cant speak for elsewhere but if your in Ireland flights from Dublin to Eindhoven are seriously cheap.
http://www.skyscanner.net/
use this and then scan the whole month option to find the cheapest deals.
Also according to what I have read here and elsewhere Tilburg may also be worth a trip and is very close by train ( i think like 20 mins ).
