Visiting AMS in MAY - BEST COFFEE SHOPS/HASH/SPACE CAKEs

Post by XANAX »

Hi,

I'm coming into AMS via NYC-LHR-AMS in May as a SOLO traveller. 10 day stay. HEAVY SMOKER back in NYC. Usually pick up 2 Z's every 2weeks @ $420 or so back home.

I've been to AMS several times but kind of just drop into whatever shop was convenient, always avoiding the "Bulldog-type" stops like a plauge. Anyway, I feel I've stopped at some of the places reveiwed here but I've heard some places will be shut down due to the AMS Mayor. Ive done Grey Area, Dampkring, Amnesia and some others. I forget what I bought or what opthers Ive stop in. This was all a while ago and I know quality, types available and atmosphere changes overtime.

Anyway, what I'm looking for are some of the TOP 5 or 7 coffee shops which deal in HIGH QUALITY: WEED/HASH/SPACE CAKES.

Can you guys add some places which can br grouped by the best WEED/HASH/SPACE CAKES and what type of each from each shop.

Who has the best WEED (which types):

Who has the best HASH (whihc types):

Who has the best SPACE CAKES (types):

In general, I like the "super high" WTF is going on high. Which items have the greatest potency. As far some ofthe cakes, Ive found them less than strong. Who has GREAT cakes with lots of potency.

If you guys could provide the top shops and what the best strains/types to purchase from each one would be very helpful.

Thanks!!!!!

There is a load of us going out for 420 and some lucky ones already there. So if you keep an eye out on the travelogues section you will get loads of info on the current strains and there quality as they are posted. For me quality differs alot throughout the year so these travelogues help to find whats currently excellent.
You could check out SoulRiders (Resident) daily update which is pretty good for bud reports.https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8334

Mellow yellow (The Menu  ), Dampkring II (The venue & Menu), Grey Area (The Bud although a let down last trip), Katsu (U Got to love it), Green Place (BUD OMG), Barneys Lounge (The venue), Bushdoctors (ICE MENU the people are total tossers), Basjoe (Get terminated, will let you know after 420),
TBH i could just keep on going all day long so i will stop now.
Others will help with the rest

Can anyone think of a coffeeshop I have been to once, but don't remember the name... 2 years ago... near train rails, you could possibly see trains come by on the other side of a very much wide street (for Amsterdam), but some road works were blocking the view....

Yeah, trams! I hope it's yellow mellow... the atmosphere was really awesome: music, stoned and caring bartender's helper, and the crowd seemed to be local...
