Need some basic ground rules

Have been reading this great forum in preparation for my trip. I am still a bit confused about whether it is cool to bring in weed from elsewhere. I totally understand that you should get a drink or food wherever you go...but how can I tell if it is okay to smoke a previous purchase there or not. If this has already been dealt with in a previous string just point me in the right direction.

easier to tell you most places dont mind if you smoke your own as long as u purchase a drink or something else, dont let any cs force you to buy their smoke just to sit, its a nice thing to do but one cant be expected to purchase everywhere they go, just a drink or snack does the trick, IMO
