forgot to say when I was there I never saw the "middle parting guy" just a well built bloke with a beard and a slim guy serving, both friendly sound guys.

April 2010. An update on Central coffeeshop. Like most coffeshops in town, now the 'non smoking ban' has settled down, you can smoke inside at the Central. Like others, I highly recommend this coffeeshop as being one of the best in town. Here are directions from Central Station. As you walk towards the exit from the main platforms when you get towards the main exit doors, stay in the building and turn left and walk about 300M. You will be walking towards to Metro entrance. Just before there, exit the station and continue walking left for about another 200M. You will pass a bike hire shop. Just after there, head right and walk over towards a pedestrian crossing area. You will see the Central coffeeshop in front of you. Its always my first visit when I get in town to get my first bag off stash before I head off to my hotel.

Glad to hear of this man! i liked to sit & watch the world go by when smoking in there.

What kind of deals are they doing on bulk buys?

The most you can buy legally there or any where else is 5 grams. Nothing to stop you buying 5 grams in each coffe shop though - but that takes you outside of the agreed 'law'.

For bulk your have to find 'the man', but then your entering the murky world of the dealer from whom, IMO, I would stear clear of.

I think you can buy 5G per CS per day, but you can carry about 30g

Thanks guys but I meant what 5gram deals they are doing? I will need a little 5gr stash for the day so I'm just wondering where's the best place to go.

I would reco the Central c/s. they have 25 euro bags (weight depending on variety - but 1 bag will keep you well zonked for a day and night).

Picked up 2.6g of SSH for 25euro and it was on of the tastiest bud's on the trip. imo much better than the ssh i got from 420/de kuil

went here before heading to schipol on the 21st..bar style theme large menu displayed on the counter everything place in rows ,i went wit the cheese.very nice stone but kinda bad burn out ,could tell chemicals were used

Glad to hear you can sit and smoke in here again. Though did wander seeing as in a menu pic or 2 for the place you could see fridges with drinks in, in the background. Funny thing to have for a shop that was buy and fly only. Certainly back near the top on my list for april.
