Silver Haze was on the menu today, 7e per gram, it looked like some great oldschool 90s Dutch haze (pre-Amnesia/SSH).

Dark colored, BIG stacked calyxes. Hazy spicy flavor.

Got a bag of the Amnesia too, 7.5e per gram. Not the prettiest Amnesia (harvested a bit early) but solid. It's more resinous and much whiter than the Silver Haze.

Yo Orle,Your correct, I know the guy who supplied the SSh to Central and it is an early 90's SSh (often goes under the name Amnesia).If its in stock its usually very good.
I had some decent warm ears hash from here, last month 6e/gram but you had to spend 10e minimum purchase, still good value @1.5g per 10e.

I think they don't have a menu like most coffeeshops, they have this giant wooden box they open up and it has example bags inside so you can 'see' what they have.

Popped in here on thursday and bought the NY Diesel for 8,50€ a gram. Was the first weed of the trip and i didn't expect anything of it, but it definetely made me whole stoney. Me and the missus just laughed about an hour or so. Central shop is really nice for the last stop before heading to the train.

Got some really great 10/10 ny diesel from the centraal, nice place to hang out before you leave the dam.

No, that changed a long time ago. The wooden box had prepacked €12 and €25 bags ready for sale.
They currently have their weed shown in their counter, in those same sample bags, but you can buy any weight you want, it's the same as in any other CS, you pick, they weigh, you pay. €10.- minimum tho.

I like Central's selection. Their menu has around 8-9 different strains and another 3-5 types of hash. Everything is pretty cheap compared to most shops. The NY Diesel at €8.50 is their most expensive strain. The Silver Haze and Amnesia are currently around €7.20 and €7.70. The Skunk is around €6.50, Super Skunk is a little cheaper. The Purple Haze is probably the cheapest strain at €5.50 or something. These prices are all rough estimates and also fluctuate from week to week. 2 weeks ago the Amnesia cost €7.50 and last week it was €7.70, but a month ago I got it for €7.- per gram. Quality also fluctuates. I can usually recommend both the Silver Haze and Amnesia, but just ask to see the bud for yourself.

I personally hate the shop itself. It's very small. If there's people sitting at the tables then there's almost no way to even reach the counter without feeling up a whole lot of people. It's the perfect place to come and pickpocket people, which happens quite often. There were fights and altercations every single time I've stayed there for more then 5 minutes past 4pm. Which is probably the reason why the Budtenders are, well, the way they are. Overall they come across as having more muscle than brains, being loud and sometimes just obnoxious and rude. But to be honest, if I worked there, I'd end up exactly the same. They put up with way more bullshit than any other CS. Is that professional? Not really, but what can you do about it?
I recommend going there in the morning, never had a cranky or rude budtender when visiting before 10am.

Sat outside central a few times, seems as much a convenient local commuters shop as a tourist shop. Think thats part of the reason for the pricing. Was non smoking inside last time i popped in, did that change with the change from pre weighs?

You could smoke inside last month. Also they have got rid of the pre bagged, they have some samples behind glass and also the tubs, which they weigh from. had some warm ears hash @ 6e/g., 1.5g for 10e (as 10e minimum spend).
I asked to see his best hash and he shows me some sub standard bubblegum, lol.

First ever CS I visited. Way back when. Not been back in since. Might give it a try as it opens early and could well be convenient to my digs for the cup. Just hope the same thing doesn't happen there as did when I was last in there.

Cool, did he tell you anything else about that SSH? I've had good bags but some harsh ones too. ugh, Real harsh, horrible in a vape even. Stopped buying it cos it started to be a gamble..but I should try it again. The good bags were nice incense/spicey/wood haze, quite different from the SSH in most other shops, not top potency but good strength.

I agree with sheska that this shop isn't pleasant when it's crowded...the dudes behind the counter can get shouty,and not in a good way. I've seen them yell (bark?) at frail little tourists like drill sergeants. I'm not complaining, never had issues in fact I've had decent chat with one of them but I'dsuggest to try not to come at rush-hour.
