they were started by martin birzle in germany. recently they have been contracted to be made in los angeles at dementia(headshop and glass company). they are made of borosilicate lab grade glass ranging from like 2mm all the way to 9mm(only roor usa makes this 9mm glass)

I was really surprised by how awesome Roors are. It's not just a 'mystique' thing or the fact they're so expensive. They're actually really intelligently designed. I mean, I very rarely smoke bongs so I sometimes have trouble pulling bowls, using the rush, spilling the water etc, but the Roor I borrowed at 420 was fkn' perfect in all respects! As I said, I rarely smoke bongs but I was seriously considering buying one, I enjoyed it so much.
