indica is what you're after if you wanna feel old skool buzzing.
Actually, that might depend on how old you are and where you live.
If you are under 35, then an "old skool buzz" might mean an indica dominant hybrid style of grass.
On the other hand, if you are over 35, then "old-skool buzz" might mean sativa.
In North America, until about the mid-late 1970's, most pot came from Columbia, Mexico, Hawaii, Thailand (and or other South-East Asian coutries). Those weeds are mainly sativa.
In about 1975-1976 breeders, mainly in California (and North American west cost states/provinces), started both producing sensemilla AND cross-breeding with Indicas! I was grateful for that, but, especially, for the introduction of the Indica genetics, since I found that the Indicas "beefed-up" the existing strains. We were completely blown away by the Indicas when they rolled in.
It took a few years, but then the Dutch cottoned onto the new cannabis breeding techniques (thanks, in large part, to "Old Ed") and they really took it to another level!
