queens day 2009

Post by FUNKMONK »

hi all, firstly thanks goes to lemming for running a top site! I always check the forum before my trips to the dam, always very informative. Im going again in 3 weeks for queens day for the first time. i hear its pretty crazy! was just wondering where the best parties are happening this year? is there any good funk or hip hop to stumble about to? or drum n bass? not really into house music, prefer breaks. anybody else going this year? look forward to some responses! peace....

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town during your visit.

Each major square ( plien ) will have something going on, just wander until you
find something to your liking. Rent a bike and be anywhere in town in no time.

Enjoy

hello m8, crazy aint the word, hope you like your beer. ive been on queens day 3times and i like leidseplein because you walk down the side streets & the clubs are all having their own mini street parties, each with their own music, personally i like the night before queens day even more cos all the dutch stream in & the whole citys buzzin, whereas queens day things start quietening down by 11ish
