Hello to everyone,
Have visited this wonderful site for years, being a retired hippie from the 60's who started making trips to Amsterdam last year, my 4th coming up in May.
Will jump in and start trying to contribute, hopefully not showing my ass

that's a good rate of trips, are you coming out of retirement then?

at that rate of trips to Amsterdam you have not jumped in, but dived in head-first

i will be interested to hear your views on how the modern world of marijuana compares and contrasts to your 60s world, i am on a similar journey and finding the differences fascinating so far
oh, and i really like the new varieties of weed and you probably like them too

Job retirement,if you meant retired from smoking pot I have never stop, started in 1960.

I believe the THC levels are much larger today, but in the 60's the amount of LSD taken had a intense effect on the weed that you smoked. But I really enjoyed playing with time. (The creative juices were really flowing then) but that is another story.
love always,
naismith

Ah Naismith, that quaint innocent word "pot" sure takes me back,
I Always got good smoke on your side of the atlantic when I used to get there, quite a lot during the 60's & 70's, mostly to the east and the mexican gulf coast states. All weed and all natural. If you came in with the solid or the oil as we used to from marocco then Mr. Popular doesn't come into it
By the way Huston Texas was probably the location of my first acid trip and we went to see Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Nothing to do with Amsterdam I know, but its nice to talk to a US toker vet
