I was walking around ST Marks Place with my wife (she was getting a tattoo) and remembered I had to buy my brother a bong as a thank you for housesitting for me on my A'dam trip. The front of the tattoo place is a headshop and I saw they carried ROOR bongs. The cheapest one they had was $250 for a nondescript piece. It seemed overpriced to me. They also had custom glass and some nicer PURE and ZONG bongs.
Can you guys recommend a good brand in the $250 price range and an honest shop to buy it from? I dont want to get ripped off because Im walking in after work in a shirt and dress pants and dont look like your typical head.
trying to find good headshop in NYC that sells legit bongs?

ask the guys on tokecity.com and check their headshop directory. there are alot of legit headshops there!
as far as a reccomendation i cant reccomend roor enough. great quality although a bit expensive. most glass on glass pieces wont be cheap though. try roor, lux, ph(x) and toro for starters.
