Greetings to one and all !

Post by Superfunk »

I am happy to be in the Forum. I just signed up and couldn't be happier.

My friends and I (all from America) are eagerly anticipating our 1st trip outside the US and our 1st trip to AMSTERDAM !!!

The site so far has given me a great idea of where to go for the best stuff on earth. Some of the meanest green and the high grade Hash.

I am looking for any and all suggestions as well as maybe getting together with some like minded people on the forum.

We will be arriving on Queens Day, I know crazy right?!? However we arrive at 6 am.

So our trip will be from Queens Day April 30th - May 5th.

We have to take a train everyday to get to the Dam the cheapest area to stay was Alkmaar but its all well and good.

So... IF anyone has any major tips, such as the best current shops and places to eat are let me know. I got wind that it changes from day to day. And let me know if anyone wants to meet up. It will be myself, my good friend and his GF.

PEACE 8)

Welcome aboard mate. First trip eh, you'll love it!
Over the next few weeks there should be Loads of new travelogues appearing, just read them all and take notes.

Be sure to spend at least one of you're days IN Alkmaar. They have a few coffeshops too https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/Tx_Alkmaar.html

Variety is the spice of life.

Welcome to the forum.

I have posted you on the April and May Whos In Town pages.
You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=32642

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

First timers get my S G Collins recommendation
I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

Enjoy

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Yeah my friend and I have looked at soo much great info all from the forum.

The interactive maps, the places to go, the strains to sample and the polls on all the shops. I cant wait. Less than like 12 days or so.

Arriving on Queens day. Oh wow Alkmaar has some shops and a mini RLD ha ha ha. Good times. AND CHEESE GROMMIT !!!

Ill check out the "who's in town" I would love to meet up with some awesome people and chill out talk and just enjoy the experience!

Ill be at the Golden Tulip in Alkmaar not sure where it is but I read its not far from a cheese market? As well as walking distance from a few shops but thanks for the link had no idea there were more than two smoke shops.
