WOW SS67. You should write a book. Very entertaining read. Of course any regular stoner has some stories of run ins with the law, of course not as elaborate as SS, but I will share mine. Much shorter story. We grew some weed on this country spot and went to pick it up. My husband was too paranoid to drive with it so his best friend and I went and got it. Well we just laid newspaper down in the trunk of the car and pulled all the plants which were 8 foot high by this time. The trunk was fully loaded with weed. we are driving back, careful not to go over the speed limit, when I look in my rearview mirror and see a cop tailing me. I thought FU@@, and told our friend, dont look now but I think we are going down. I said to him are you sure you got all the pot in the trunk and none was hanging out. He said he thought but we started wondering all while this cop is on my ass. I continue to drive like nothing is wrong, and the next thing I know, the cops lights come on. Well both of our hearts sank down to our feets since this was enough smoke to get busted for intent to distribute which at the time was a felony <still is I think>, and the cop pulls out and whips around us and takes off. I had beads of sweat on my forehead and so did my friend. Close encounter for sure!
