Bullshit.
Not quite. The location is key. When he said, "here", I think he meant where he lives.

I think Adamster is from Montreal. There are a lot of "dial-a-dope" operations in Canada. These guys are usually not too bright, though, so the cops bust them all the time, by getting their phone numbers, ordering up some drugs (grass, coke, meth, E, etc.), and then busting them upon delivery.

Nearly every week, the Canadian newspapers mention how some local police department has busted yet another "dial-a-dope" ring. This is the "low hanging fruit" for the police departments. Forget about having to stake out an operation, get warrants, and do months of work. Simply get one of the phone numbers, order up some product, and bust the delivery guy. How easy can it get?
.....It's over 3 km to the nearest coffeeshop...The organisers have got this dudes cards well and truly marked.....goodluck
3-4 km for a teenager, should be no problem! How out of shape are these kids today, if they could not walk (or run) a few kilometers? Easily do-able, unless they are blobs. If they are blobs, then they could call a taxi, no?

Yeah, thanks for explaining how dealing from a Taxi is a stupid idea.

Aslong as this guy is still a teenager and not an adult, he should stay out of coffeeshops

I'm 19 for another 3 weeks. Should I stay out of coffeeshops too?

In some countries you have to be 21.

But maybe we shouldn't be advising underage toking. The Dutch get enough shit from the rest of the world for being tolerant to us tokers, so maybe we should respect Dutch law.

Play it safe.

Stick to beer.

The thrill of being a teenage American with the ability to buy suds like a free man is too much to pass up.

Ahh. Memories.

You are welcome, anytime you need help!

Well, if you think the original poster is under 18, then you are inferring something, from his/her post, which might not be true.

He/she posts:
The problem is, a lot of the people in the orchestra aren't 18 so they won't be allowing us to leave the hotel during the night.
But he/she does NOT say that he/she is not yet 18.
Hence, if he/she is 18 or over, (or, if at least one other person in the orchestra is 18+) then no problemo. Have the 18+ person go to the coffeeshop.

When I need any help from you mate, I'll give up whatever it is I happen to be doin.

Have the 18 year old go in for them?. ffs wise up. Do you want coffeeshops to be closed because of stupid ideas like that. Why do ya think Twee de Kamer and the Dampkring have 21 age limits!?!

I'm not inferring anything, I'm saying that this guy is under age. Otherwise, the only advice that needs to be given to him is to grow a set of balls and tell the organisers that he's old enough to do what he wants, seein how he's legally entitled to. Instead of talkin utter crap about 'weed taxis'.

That's good, cause what you now do obviously does not require logic. :D

What's the problem? If the kids are smoking a joint well far away from a shop (like 3-4 km) how is that going to get shop closed down? If they get caught, it does not mean the shop sold it to them. If a Dutch kid steals his/her parent's stash and gets busted with it, the shop does not get closed down, does it? If the kids get busted and they have any brains at all they will say they found the bags. No shops can be held liable for people losing their grass.

Furthermore, if one of the 18+ year olds gets caught with the dope, then shop won't get closed down, because it's not illegal for an 18+ year old to possess grass.
I'm not inferring anything, I'm saying that this guy is under age.
Really then how do you KNOW this?

Too right!

To be honest, I could not give a shit about whether they can get dope or not. If you have reached the age of 18 years old and you can not figure out how to get around minor road-blocks, then maybe they should not let them out of the house.

The first part...erm, whaaaa? Logic?.....do you know what yer even talkin about. Whatever I do now, it doesn't need help from the blatantly obvious.

'Kids... smoking' There's a problem for me straight away. Kids unable to work out how to get weed in Holland means little brains which is also a problem, because that means when they're caught they'll blurt out where they got it...hence 21 year old age limits being applied in coffeeshops. Can I hear a big thank you from all the under 21s for Mr Ingway. See where yer logic is taking you?. I know he's under age cos I'm usin my Spidey barman sense, which picks up on bullshit quite quickly....it's tingling again now, with you. :D
