I went to Eindhoven a couple of years ago. It was ok. It is nothing like Amsterdam and was generally a bit dead. Looking back I should have just taken the bus to Amsterdam. There is an express that is timed for Ryanair arrivals and takes 90 mins, 30 euro return.

Travelled back from Eindhoven Airport last week. Spent a couple hours in 2 coffeeshops, Grasshoper and Euro Garden. It was nice to visit another city, but the choice of weed was a bit of a let down, didnt see any cheese on either menu and the weeds were a bit dry. Cheaper than Amsterdam by around 1 or 2 euros per gram.
Excuse me while I light my Spliff.....

Yep, food and drink is also a lot cheaper in Eindhoven - The gear is not as good as in Amsterdam... People were cool tho. Kept themselves to themselves... 8)

go on google maps and search coffeeshops, you'l find most of them there, otherwise read the cs reviews. my recomendations are grasshopper, about 10 mins from station, eurogarden about 10 mins also, sinbad which is about a 10 min walk from eurogarden, but wel worth it. also if you have time check out the indian, which is 5 min buss ride from the grasshopper
dam aint the only place in nl
