You won't starve on the way. Zeedijk is packed with any number of greasy spoons including a lot of bad Chinese, stuff that makes me cringe. The trick is finding something that will stay open reasonably late by the time you smoke up at Hunter's. Unfortunately, Thai Bird Snackbar, along with its mothership across the way, closes at 10.

It's 2 blocks out of your way to the GH Centrum, but you can try A-Fusion at Zeedijk 130. They're open til 11 pm.

Or you could succumb to the allure of a slice of greasy sheet pizza...or FEBO...

Agreed with everyone else, you won't have a problem finding a good coffeeshop where you are. But as you want a suggestion, I would pop into coffeeshop central which is right across the road from the station. You can always get a nice bag of the green from there.
Same for food, but if you haven't been experienced yet, try FEBO. It's de Lekkerste! :lol:
