OUR DAY IN EINDHOVEN

When booking our flights i see that a one way trip back from Eindhoven to London Stansted was only 5 Euros (tax free), so it gave us reason to explore somewhere else in Holland,.

We got to Central station, found our train easily and boarded, was told to change at Utrect, but when we got there, we got off looked at the board and it seemed like the train we was already on was infact going to Eindhoven..... so on the same train again...I remember seeing the Ajax and PSV football stadiums while on the train and they were both a great sight to see.

I had a couple print out maps from Google to find our way to coffeeshops across Eindhoven, i did want to visit alot more, but time wasnt on our side and in the end we ended up only visiting 2. Mainly because the location of one coffeeshop to another is quite a walk.

Made our way to Grasshopper because I had heard only good things about the place from ACD. Was an Ok looking shop, had internet to use. Small menu, i opted for 2g of White Widow, which was OK, but didnt compare to the WW i got from Baba a day or two before. The menu was slightly cheaper, and the drinks were considerbly cheaper. (chocomel being 1.50 euro)

After here we headed off to Euro Garden coffeeshop as it seemed the closest and was near to the train station. Was about a ten minute walk from Grasshopper and the sun was shining, but we had our bags and was a lil bit tiring, especially since we had spend the last 3 days smoking so much and sleeping little. Euro Garden was a nice looking coffeeshop, had a glassed off smoking area. Got some SSH (0.7 8e), which was nice, and some Northern Lights (0.8 8e). Both were a little too dry IMO. Got a cab back to the airport as no train went there and we missed a bus. Cab was around 22 euros.

Would got back to Eindhoven again, only for a day i think tho. Theres not to much else there.

Reading your report made me smile and laugh on many occasions. I had totally forgot about those glowing spikey balls, and a rush of fear came across me as I visualised REI pitching that thing at me! :o

Cheers for the write up bruv :)
