Hi guys

Really impressive forum

I am going to amsterdam with a group of mates in august. We havent been to amsterdam before so have a few questions.

We're looking to drink and smoke weed/hash? i've heard that gear can be very strong in amsterdam and therefore im wondering what would be our best option. We don't really smoke it back home so won't need anything very strong because we won't be used to it.

Also we're really into electro, house, trance, tech, wondering are there any cafe's that play this through the day/night while we chill?

Drinking and smoking in the same establishment will take a smoke friendly bar. One excellent one is Nes <---Clicky. They even have a house verdamper.

You will probably want to do your nightlife stuff at one of the pliens ( squares ) in town. The two most popular are Rembrantsplien and Leidesplien . Find them on this Map <---Clicky. Print a couple copies of the map and take them with you.

hello

c/s baba always played a good bit of hard trance/techno, although i ain't been in for about 18 months. imo their hash selection was above average, esp. the rasol cream, never bought bud here tho. enjoy man, your 1st trip will be some eye opener, even with the info from the forum.
