wake and bake...

Post by CHELSEA_SMOKERS_SOCIETY »

you know how when you are your most wasted, when you really dont need another joint, you end up rolling the strongest one of the night?

well on saturday mornings, the missus is at work till 3, and my routine is to have some me time in the flat, stick some good music on loud, cook a full english and dance about in kitchen with a wake and bake and a cup of tea.

this morning, i had left half a J in the ash tray from last night when i fell asleep, so i just grabbed that one and sparked it.

a bout 2 tokes in and i got a huge head rush, too intense for this time of morning. i soldiered on getting more and more head rushy, finished it and just sat on sofa spinning a little and staring. shit this is strong. and i just remembered.... that last spliff last night was half green & half home made skuff.

oops. im never gonna tidy the flat now   oh well back to bed...

LOL chels. I got some good isolator hash when I was in amsterdam and realized it needed to be the last thing at night I smoked. Well the next morning me and DH were doing a wake and bake and we were like Oh my IM stoned. then realized the isolator was still in the bottom of the pipe.. LOL.

I too appreciate a wake and bake. Usually only get to manage it at weekends when I'm not working.

Kind of sets you up for the days following activities I think, I seem to approach the day differently to when I start smoking after lunch or something.

On a side note, what about getting up after a night on the ale, and then getting straight back on it? Haven't done it properly since back when I was at college, but when you've been out on a heavy one the night before, then wake up feeling like death, but get straight back on the tinnies and force them down for the rest of the day, then out again. Messy bastard of a night ensues.

I waked and baked this morning, and after a productive 2 hours of laying around, I finally got out of bed in an inspired fashion. Proceeding to the Sainsbury's, returning no fewer than 3 times to buy items I forgot, I spent about half an hour wandering around in a square, 4 aisles wide, before being reminded of my inspiration in the milk section. Finally, having all my ingredients before me, I set about it - a cannacotta. Infusing vanilla, high grade and sugar into some cream and milk, the steam fragranced the kitchen with delightful aromas. Leaving it to set was boring but suffice it to say, the smell was only a fraction of the flavor. Maybe not one to suggest for the new menu at work, but a great treat.

you also gotta consider that when you smoke a roach, you're smoking all the resin thats seeped down from the part you smoked the night before. so that'll put a heavy tone on your high pretty easily.
