Vaporizer is coming - some questions!

OK, I know the infos I am searching for can be found on other sites as well, but I want to ask YOU because I trust the peoples opinions on this site.
We just bought the Extreme Vaporizer 3.0 for only 270€, hope it arrives here in the next few days.
So a few questions about this as its our first Vaporizer (only tried it in the AMS coffeeshops so far and found it nice):
- whats the best temperature for weed?
- is it possible to use hash in it as well and if yes, whats the temperature there (any other things you have to be carefull with when using hash?)
- how much do you use for one hit for one person?
- any other things I need to know?

according to wikipedia 180-200°C is the optimum temp. should just google it and double check it though. as far as hash icolater is probably easiest. if using a good import like maroc or something be sure to grind it as fine as possible to get the most possible surface area. no idea on temperature for hashish though.

I've got one. Its great. Temp will vary depending on the bud. I have found that the higher the quality bud, the lower the temperature needs to be. Also, give it a 10-20 minute warmup before using.

With that said, there are two versions - one that reads to 250 degrees, and one that goes to 350 degrees. THEY ARE THE SAME, but the temp guage is in a different place. Mine reads to 350, and I typically use it in the 260-285 degree range. If yours goes to 250, that would correspond to 160-185. All I can say is experiment, and use the lowest temps possible. If you use the bags, you need to use slightly higher temps. I almost never use the bag myself.

Fill the bowl halfway at most (up to the black). You need airflow and if you pack it tight air won't flow. Make sure you grind it well.

I remember that the guys in Mellow Yellow set up their Vulcano at 165°C and we only have high quality buds from holland, no sprayed shit or something.
what about the shisha-modus where you can use the Extreme like a water-pipe and give it round when more people are there...does this work fine with weed?

what about the hash, have you ever tried hash in yours? I would love to use it but am not sure, since in Mellow Yellow you are not allowed to use hash in the vaporizers, can it damage your vaporizer?

I've put the crystals from the bottom of my grinder on top of some weed and it works awesome. I've never used hash in it, but I would worry that it might melt and go through the screen and onto the heating element. If I was going to try, I'd break it up into little tiny balls and drop it on some weed.

By the way, the highest I've been in a loooooong time was just the other day, I used a toothpick to get some of the buildup off the whip hose, wiped that on a rolling paper and then rolled a joint. Wooooo hooo! The stuff in the tube is pretty much concentrated thc, and nothing else!!

im pretty sure they loaded hash into the volcano for my friend at 420 in 2006. cant remember though. as iv said you can probably find your answer via google. is your vape bag or whip based?

both, you can put on a bag like the Volcanos, but you can use the so called "shisha-modus", you put the tube onto it and then you can use it with more people like a water-pipe

Inhale gently on the whip. I get my best hits when I pull slow and steady. If you try to suck down the whole bowl at once you won't get a good hit.

I really can't say enough good things about the Extreme. In my opinion you made a really good buying decision!

and there it is! arrived 2 hours ago, smoked a bag with 2 friends and I am still HIGH! its sooooo nice

the thing with the whip needs more investigation in the next days

the right temperature seems to be 165-170 at least for the bag, not sure about the whip, will test some hash later or tomorrow.

Its amazing how a little goes such a long way.. Dont forget to hit the same bit of bud a couple of times and save your "vapepoo" for making butter or cooking.

i haven't been on here for a bit having computer issues but im back now and me and my boys just bought a fuji vaporizer which is basically a fake volcano. we got it for $200 on ebay and im very happy with it we set the temp ot 376 Fahrenheit after letting it get hot for like 10 minutes which is the only down side. the bag doesn't fill too fast but the hits are def worth the wait. no coughing and nice clean hits its great, peace.
