Vaporizing... ?

Hi all, this goes out to the UK memebrs really...

I'm interestred to know if anybody vapes ? if so what kinda kit are you using, what kinda money are we talking and is it worth the outlay.

I've seen some kit around the £60 mark but does low cost mean low quality?

What about real low cost... I've seen a £15 pocket vapo that just need practice on the burn technique as you use a normal lighter?

Anybody got any advice/feedback?... (I suppose thats a global advice request really... )

PS: I'm trying to cut down on the smoking bit... my pipe gets very dirty, very quickly ... god know whats going on inside me

I was thinking about cooking up some skunk cakes and having one for my desert in the evenings... I've never tried eating bud before so would like to know what the effects are like too... how strong AND how long before it kicks in.

From what i've seen and used here in the states over the years....you do indeed get what you pay for.

The Volcano is clearly a hands-down amazing piece of equipment and if it is in anyway possible (finanically) that is the way to go....you WILL NOT be dissapointed and the unit WILL pay for itself in time.

Some of the other higher-end units (V-Rip, Vapor Bros....) are are also very nice and definitely worth their cost....they just aren't quite on the par with the Volcano.

IMHO, anything that doesn't plug in (ie you use a lighter) is essentially junk...it might be better than smoking but not by much. I would consider anything less than a V-Rip or VBros type system as a gloried toy, not a conniseur grade smoking untensil.

eating is great...in my experience cooking with herb, the results vary widely. Until recently when i discover a product called "Cannabrex", this kit is basically a THC encapsulation system. You start with herb, kif, hash or oil/resin, then thru a couple very simple processes you mix your source with an oil blend and then with a corn starch filler. Now you have a powder that you put in lil gelatin pill capsules. Pop a couple pills and wait....then you are FUCT!!!!!!!

Generally when eating the effects kick in after about 45mins and can last for 12+ hours.

Sounds like a great idea as you seem to get so much from using so little ingredients. Sounds way better than a vaporizer in my opinion.
