Wonder why the two different countries have such a gulf in prices? Up here, the going price for an oh of primo triple AAA, like 'God Bud' is $220oz and that's the upper end for pricing, most A to AAA stinky stank can be had in the 180-220 range. Not trying to get compare dicks, just wondering.

Yea I am in the same boat with the prices and I do think that the price is steep but its way better than smoking brick shit.. And those strains sound like great choices!!
And the prices are much cheaper in ADAM, When i noticed the menus, travel louges, and coffeeshop/strain reviews where there prices were listed and I about shit myself seeing how cheap and available it is there i am truly jealous! at least high quality stuff is available!!
quality, always quality, i also pay $500 an ounce for high grade buds in NYC but you get what you pay for. who wants to sift through seeds or get a headache or have to smoke tons to get high

another factor is the violence. while i'm an unabashed criminal, murder and all the other shit that comes with the large scale drug trade is not cool with me. now most things we buy on a daily basis cost someone their life, from our coca cola cans (brutal shit carried out in their name in latin america) to the shoes made by children. i dont like any of that, but its unnavoidable alot of the time. but we luckily buy from the hippies usually, people i know wouldn't touch a nike, let alone drugs from the cartel murderers in mexico. they have good high quality bud with no risk of a guilty conscience, its worth a bit of a premium to me.
(and drug dealing anarchist hippies HATE cops more than the average drug dealer, they wont squeal on you if they get jacked like the homeboys will)

yeah, i used to get 40/z brown bud. but it was nothing like the weed today...sticks, seeds and many times a major headache....the thc level was nothing compared to todays lovely buddies....the weed today is "scientific"...and that's a good thing!!!
I hate sifting through seeds and stems and 6 bowls with hardly any high is just not acceptable at all! If it isnt a crystally nug get that shit away. Its healthier to smoke high grade too because it takes a lot less!!

Quality all the way, better tasing and better effect so if you've got quality you dont need quantity.Downside, for me atleast ,is when Ive got quality I can't seem to keep my hand out the jar and it seems to go pretty quick.The temptation is just too much when you have the good stuff But definately quality over quantity everytime.
Its not a question of choice where I am but just the last 2 years or so I will go without rather than smoking bad hash (soap) or headache homegrown.Its a fine art having money put by for when something worthwhile comes along so as to invest heavy.The commercial hg scene here hasnt really happened properly but just lately signs are that quality is making a comeback.

This is a tricky one. Where I do agree with the fact that quality is essentially the best, when you have a lack of choice in certain areas of the world quantity then becomes more of a need.
For example been traveling for the last 5 months and the choice of what I can buy is quite poor, so quantity is the key for me, but only in this environment.
When I am in Amsterdam, which is normally once every year, quality becomes the highest factor.
In 1967 Terry Southern published a short story titled "Red Dirt Marijuana". In the story the ranch owner's son is hanging with a old farm hand. The hand finds a great herb plant, picks and cures it. He is separating the bud from the shake and explains to the kid that the bud is for the weekends and the shake is for weekdays. The kid asks why, and the old man says that if he smoked the good herb everyday, "there wouldn't be anyone to milk the cows and feed the chickens."
But definately quality over quantity everytime.
