Yes, you can list people who are dead. It's one of those notorious questions. We even got asked it at my college in a lecture as it divulges a great deal about the person answering it, even those who are unable to suggest anyone at that moment, and there were a sad few who couldn't and could only conjur up comments on others.

would also like to have dinner with my grandfather who died before i was born. he was the vp of carnation and one of the major players in the invention of the frozen dinner. brilliant man. would like to have dinner with any of my grandparents as they are all deceased and i miss the ones i knew alot. my nana would have turned 102 last week.
