if the guy is a bit paranoid and has a small amount of customers with a nice selection of weed and hash its best you can get. ours has opening-hours and some rules you have to follow, but you will always have a wide selection when you know him, best guy ever!

I have one Dealer he don't deliver, somtimes he's in the hotel, or at his house, put the money in the mail box and look here___
he's always switching it up. or he's so busy he might even leave 2 other peoples bags in the same spot, but theres no reason to mess up a good connect over 14 grams
and besides I always get > or = than what I pay 4

... is my best friend, and often I schmoke for free if we're on the chill... I buy from him also, and get sorted extra. He doesn't have a variety on offer, usually just one strain only. But - it's always good bud, and if he can't source good bud, he doesn't just pick up mediocre grade to make a quick buck!It's all good! It's real hard to find dealers in NY who have good bud at reasonable prices cause, like anything else in a big city, shit is waaaaaay overpriced.
I have one guy in Brooklyn who I get my regs from at $120 an ounce. He's cool and dependable but the weed isn't all that great and there's always police rolling through the area, as Bushwick is a major drug hot spot. He's close though so it's convenient.
My other connect is in Harlem with great regs at $110 an ounce and a nice assortment of premium strains (Grand Daddy Purp, Sour Diesel, Diablo Kush, etc.) for $450 an ounce. Yes, I said $450!
Copped a gram of some Grape Crush and the shit is the best looking bud I've seen since Amsterdam.

I'd be happy to pay $450 an ounce for good buds! One of my current contacts is my cousin. I have to drive 2 1/2 hours roundtrip to see her. She can get me ounces of regs for $150, and sometimes "dro" for $265. The dro is most likely shaken, because when broken up it looks nice but the outside of the buds have almost no crystals. The other is someone I've known for probably ten years. Another 2+ hour drive with VERY limited hours (before 2pm or after 11pm!) He only ever has one strain at a time but it's usually very good. He charges $20 for .9 grams, and no discount for volume. When I use him I get $200 at a time. Once I asked him for a favor, could he get me a good deal on an ounce, long ride, tolls and bridges and traffic, etc....and he did, charged me $430. Not bad either, I'm smoking it now. But it's almost gone, my cousin only has regs, and I doubt he'll want to give me that deal again, it was only three weeks ago and he's used to charging me a lot more. My cousin only has crappy regs.

I told him I overheard him buying a blunt, that I was new to the area, and could really use a connection. He told me sorry, he just didn't know anyone. Suuuure, like he enjoys smoking cheap cigars. That kind of thing happens all the time. I've talked to people who were obviously stoned and stunk of weed, and nothing, no luck.
I used to have an AMAZING connection....I met a guy when he was somewhat smalltime, and got to know him pretty well. Hung out with him, introduced him to a girl, etc...he had many strains, all the time, NEVER dry, and I always got awesome deals. He'd meet me wherever, almost whenever. Turns out he was running a large-scale delivery network in New York City from his roving call center, and was busted. He's got another 7 years of jail ahead of him....If you're a NY'er, you may have heard of Wopper or the Cartoon Network (not the TV network.)

The delivery was great and they always had an assorted selection of strains.
Haven't used the service since about '04 but last I remember they charged about $60 for 2.5 grams of some fire shit. They all got locked up around Christmas time, if I remember correctly, as the pic in the paper following the seizure showed all the bud had "Happy Holidays" stickers on the plastic cases.
