What to smoke and where to smoke....

Hey guys, cool forum,

Im Irish and been smokin bud for a few years. Over here its mostly really crapp hash (like 3% THC) which in the last year I have refused to smoke. I have smoked very good bud, or at least I think I have, you never know what you get here sometimes good sometimes bad, nothing near the quality you guys smoke.....

Anyway, I going interrailing this summer with a few mates, Amsterdam is the first port of call obviously. I've been dreaming of going for years, and pretty excited that I'm goin this summer actually

So I want to try and smoke the best bud amsterdam has to offer, and understand what real weed is haha. Ive been reading the forums and the same strains keep popping up, white widow, super silver haze etc. So what do you recommend, and what coffeeshops do you think I should go to a first timer in amsterdam? Oh is there cool places outside where ppl can toke with a good visual?

I still think Dampkring is the best for 1st timers..the 2nd shop should always be Mellow Yellow

hi cronic, i feel your pain about the crappy hash, stay away form that sh1t mate

Amsterdam will sort you out good and proper, you will know what good bud is

Most if not all of the bud you see in Dam will be better than what you see at home but i recommend buying or printing out a map and marking on a few recommended coffeeshops. To get you started, I recommend The Green Place very highly. Their Purple Kush and OG Kush are both very nice. Amnesia and Grey Area also have great product, altho it can get pretty expensive in those places. Also good are Mellow Yellow, 420 De Kuil, El Guapo. If you want to explore great hash as well, try Stix or Old Church for dark Nepali hash.

There's more info than you could possibly need on this forum. All subject to opinion, of course. Get started reading some trip reports and the coffeeshop reviews section.

lol, our first shop will be MY, and Dampkring is somewhere down the list on day 3 or 4...

Hi there

Im a student at Aberdeen Uni in Scotland at the mo and have been smokin bud for a few years now. Just became a new member today so thought Id say hi.

Thinkin of headin over to Dam for the first time in a couple of months and Im feelin a bit spoilt for choice when it comes to places to smoke.

Was just wonderin if you could recommend some decent places to go for my first visit and what to smoke? Feel a bit lost coz as u can imagine, Aberdeen isnt exactly the mecca of bud. :p

its not wrong, but I always have the feeling that at Dampkring you can make your best first experience because the dealers always take time to explain you whatever you want. At MY you may have a dealer who is not in the mood to explain because they know the gear they sell is 100% top notch.

mch0ul if you ventured into Tillydrone, Seaton, Northfield, Mastrick, Torry or even Sandilands you will find very nice bud. Some of the best bud i have ever smoked came from these areas. Plenty of bud in Aberdeen, maybe look further than Hillhead

Stew1974, haha I didn't mean to knock it, iv proper melted myself with a lot of good stuff up here over the past 2years lol.

And iv never bought from hillhead, not that desperate.:p

Just meant that there's gonna be some amazin brands of bud over in the Dam for my first time and i'd love some thoughts on what I should be samplin.
