a fresh leaf blows in...

Post by Red13 »

Hi ...

...found this great site after doing some research before booking up flights to 'Dam for early June this year. Leaving the UK on 6th for a 3 night stay and hooking up over there with a friend from Canada. First time there for the pair of us, but hopefully not the last... so yea... counting down the days now until it's time to board the plane... heheh .... all that's left to do is exchange currency and decide what I wanna smoke when i get there

catch you around...

Red13!

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the June Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

You can do some pre shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.

Thanks very much folks! *smiles*

Yea I was lost for hours surfing the menu's last night.... just worrying about how long it will be before I end up sprawling about in the gutter.... not used to smoking pure weed joints. Coming from some dead eyed little town in the UK I am used to smoking pollen and soap bar ... got lucky with some cheese a couple times, but I always mix tobacco with my smokes unless I'm piping or bongin' it. Still... my friend fires up pures, so I guess he can always give me a fireman's lift back to the hotel :D

We are staying at the Hotel Casa 400, were originally going to stay at the Luxur but I believe the casa worked out cheaper. My line of thought at first is that would would stay in a hostel...

Been reccommended by a friend to visit Hill St Blues cafe... and I've seen it mentioned here a few times too.

Now I gotta start looking for work as soon as this holiday is over! Save up so we can go again

Thanks for all the welcomes peeps,

~Red~

please please please read this for the sake of your own safety ... things like trams and cars and motor bikes and motor scooters as well as bikes can come at you from all directions ...

I did indeed read that before i registered. Thankyou for the linkage. Yea, it's kinda the last thing I need as my trip is only gonna be short anyway, don't wanna have to spend it in a Dutch hospital with bicycle tread marks all over my face

Cheers again folks for the warm welcome!

don't worry so much about only smoking pure. Most coffeeshops won't worry about the adding of Tobacco, as long as you keep your cigarette packet off the table... plus a lot of the bigger places have a separated smoking room for us spliff rollers...

Hill St. Blues feels like you've wandered into a dirty graffiti filled bar... but I love it!

420 Café is always a favorite as well...

perhaps i'll run into ya... or over ya on my bike :D

hehe peace and enjoy!
