420 has great atmosphere, really nice shop visually and the bud tender was friendly and the old school rock tunes made it a great place to hang out!

Decent place to chill, weed is nothing special though...thought I'd give their nycd a chance and it tasted of nothing...looked decent as well.

Nice vibe, friendly staff, excellent Neville's Haze. On a cold, drizzly afternoon, 420 was an oasis.

That's how I think of 420. I don't go there for the weed although I usually buy weed there and its usually fine.

420 has such a nice atmosphere it is usually on my visit list as a nice to hang out. Can't wait to meet the new cat!

Great coffee shop. Only went into get some weed. Ended up getting a gram of blueberry for around 10euros. Great smelling and great looking weed. Smoked like a treat and tasted like i was chewing on the buds. It was busy so I didnt stay. Worth a look and a smoke. 8/10

I like the Blueberry from here also...always seem to have a couple of grams of it around, in different pockets, when I am in AMS...great coffeeshop too.

The atmosphere at de Kuil was really warm and inviting, with Zappa (I seem to remember 'Zoot Allures') playing. I wanted to try my hand at the volcano. The strain eludes me (probably indica,) but, the amount I gave the budtender was 'not enough' so, I tripled what I would usually smoke in a regular vessel. What came on 2/3 of the way through the bag could be considered a near 'whitey' or something close- paranoia with a little bit of panic... Trying to remember what to do.... Chocomel & a straight brownie helped, some. After calming down and gathering my possessions, I donated the remainder of the vapobag to some Americans who were also bagging, and found myself walking down the street saying to myself 'left foot, right foot, left foot...' Luckily I was walking towards NZ Voorburgwal, so I didn't have to worry about falling into a canal...
I may be stoned, but don't take me for granite...

I love de kuil. Ever since the days when it also had a pool table and sold alcohol it has been a favourite stop. I've always had friendly service and had my first vaporiser bag here.

Last time I went to de Kuil (less than 6 months ago) they had a fantastic moroccan red polm.

Really recommend this as a good example of maroc as it is meant to be.

The place itself doesnt feel like your standard Dutch coffee shop, it is basically a modernised cafe with a kind of upmarket feel.
The menu is short and sweet, concentrating on quality rather than quantity of selection.

As a special mention I have to say the music and service at this place is as good as you'll find in A'dam too.

Was in here twice during recent trip, first time I didnt fancy the vibe--something just not right----second visit was much more to my liking Frank Zappa music which I didnt recognise but unmistakably Zappas guitar style---bought a gram of the 420 Kush which I thought was really great--nice weed------budtender was a silent type who just handed me my weed took the money withyout any attempt at talking--still--thats his loss----i'd go back here.
