making hashish

hello potheads just wondering if i could suck some knowledge out of your throbbing thc filled brains???
i know to make hash you have to seive it some how but never botherd to look into it in any depth...curiosity has got the better of me so if someone could post my a reply i would be grateful

I use a grinder with a mesh screen at the bottom. When I have finished smoking loads of weed, the crystals are collected in the bottom, then the hash making begins....
I have tried several different methods of creating hash, and have discovered one important thing... Make the hash the way you like to smoke it
You can bake it, press it, beat it, roll it, any number of methods to make the crystals into hash, but they all have very different results and produce very different hash types. I have managed to make a black, brown, golden, and ultra light hash just by different methods and different times. I'll post a pic of my last hash, which is just a light press really, not hash looking, but it crumbles without heat so I can roll it up

A good method is to place the collected thc in the outer plastic of a cigarette box and rub it up and down ur leg, it turns it into some nice dark squigy hash with minimal fussing around.

I use a similar grinder. I've tried pressing the crystals before, but I always find that I need to crumble the has to smoke it, so its easier to just use the crystals loose...
does pressing the crystals make it stronger...
theres something in the back of my mind about pressing the trichromes to release something, but I cant remember it. and ideas?

I am making hash from all my stalks so far. Got about 15g dried, anyone know how much I should save to get a semi decent sized lump?
