5th Visit to the Mecca: June 29th to Jul 6th

Post by MPSRuo »

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted here. Since my last trip actually! Anyways I've made plans to go to Amsterdam on June 29th. We'll be landing in amsterdam the 30th and staying in the Netherlands until our flight on July 6th. I had a couple of questions for y'all.

1) Any new must-have strands for me to try out since last summer? My favorite shops are always Green House (Arjuun Ultra Haze, anyone?) and of course Grey Area.

2) Any of you are going to be in town? Our party is 6 people (2 of us will be in NL for 7 days, 4 of our group is only there for 3 days), 21-23 years old colege students and graduate students.

3) Does anyone know if the Heineken Factory is back open? It was being remodeled last year and I wanted to take some friends.

4) What other cities do you recommend to visit other then amsterdam? I've visited Haarlem for a day and was hoping for more cities that are worth going to (Good coffee shops a big requirement!).

Thanks!

Cheers, peace n love

have you been to Green Place?

Green Place in Coffeeshop Reviews forum topic

as far as strains, etc. goes my suggestion is to read the recent reports in Travelogues (After or During)

a number of forum members have travelled to amsterdam in the last few weeks and smoked a reasonable amount and have written many words about what is good right now (may 2009), a quick peek in the topic suggests these three out of the many, but other forum members may remember names of reports that were also full of info

Twichaldinho's 420 Experience. Loads of pics.

i would suggest having a look in FlyByNite's Who's In Town page

You have been posted on the June and July Whos In Town pages.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
There are a couple of Meet and Greets during your visit.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

There's a Meet & Greet arranged for the 30th by TC. Venue is Greenhouse Centrum so kill two birds with one stone and come along.

To Burger: That sounds perfect. I'll actually be staying in Heart of Amsterdam hostel, just literally 1 block SE of Greenhouse Centrum. What time will you all be there? We're landing 11am so I'm expecting a noon arrival at our hostel. Just to be clear, that IS the shop SE of the Dam Square right?

hippy_man: That sounds good. Look at Burger's first post on this thread, he mentioned a meet on the 30th so maybe you'd be interested in that.

FlyByNite: Thanks for adding me, that link will be fine. I'll update my profile.

unfortunately I can't do the meet up on the 30th. That's the day my flight leaves from NYC and i don't get in until the next morning... so I may have to catch ya at the end of your trip...

peace,
