June 3 - June 10

Post by wakeupsleep »

Hello everyone. :D.

New to the forum, and am going to be making my first trip to Amsterdam from June 3 - June 9 and leaving on the 10th. Very excited about this trip. Unfortunately, my friend who was going to be joining me did not get his "expedited" passport yet so he is unable to go with me.

So now my pops is accompanying me on this journey, lol. That will be interesting. I think he will just go look at other sites and places when I'm in the coffee shops because I think it might be awkward to smoke in front of him. He knows I smoke but is not too crazy about it. Whatever. Maybe I'll convince him to join me, hahaha.

Anyway, really looking forward to Wednesday morning landing in the Dam! If anyone is in town and is up for a smoke let me know.

What up Cattales? Yep I can access the map on my phone too. Plus i've tried to put most shops I wanna check out as bookmarks in Maps. Studying street views like mad, lol.

Yeah he doesn't have a problem with it on the trip. But I just wish Georgia laws were more lax. Everyones main problem with it is the legal issue. Well hopefully Cali and the like will keep up the good fight.

As for a review. You know it! Look forward to documenting this adventure. Appreciate the reply man. Have a good day.

What up guys? Bad news. My flight was at 12:05PM today to Cincinatti, then to Amsterdam. But right when we get there to check in, the look at my dad's Canadian passport and notice that it expires on the 17th of June. This is 7 days after we would be back from our trip.

Supposively, they claim that the passport need to be valid for at least 3 months AFTER the trip. So they would not let him board the plane. I am so pissed right now.

So now, my dad has to get a flight to Canada to attempt to get it renewed. They say it takes from 24-48 hours to do it. So we are gonna try and do that and hopefully reschedule all this shit and try to leave in 2-3 days. Wish me luck guys and hope to still see some members in the Dam.
