Now it's definitely katsu. Just amazing resins :) Just don't try to walk it unless you're willing to wait awhile for your smoke as it's a bit of a hike.

I'm looking forward to trying out the bicycle hotel this winter as it's damn close to katsu and quite inexpensive (here's hoping it's a deal :) )

Basjoe's

Always my first stop.

Everything is better outside the Old Side, awsayfrom the red lights. Cheaper, better quality, better choice, far better attitudes, far less beered up English football heads :)

On my last trip, i had a change up.
Instead of heading towards Barneys up Haarlemmerstraat, I went straight to Homegrown Fantasy..... i think maybe on my next trip i will go back to the old traditional way of Barneys and Dampkring II :-)

Allways been the BlueBird. From our first trip in 1997 and every trip after. That is were I made my own coffee shop rules, decide witch way you will leave when you enter, you can get real lost in Amsterdam, and take the spoon out of the cup, you do not want to put your eye out when you pass out.

There are so many more coffeeshops that open aroud 7am, and 8am. Barneys being 1 of them

Normally i dont arrive in Central until 9:30am or so, and by then most of the shops are open :-)
