Coming over in a couple of weeks and planning on spending a bit of time in the Vondelpark. Looking to check out a couple of coffeeshops in the area. I know Kashmir Lounge, but not been since they bought the place over the road. Any other recommendations? All the reviews in the directory are pretty old.
We're all hash smokers (meaning tobacco spliffs) and drinkers so I guess ideally we'd like somewhere that does good hash and has a weed-friendly bar with outdoor tables nearby. It looks like Kashmir will be hard to beat in that respect but if you know different, please let me know.

CS Tweedy is located on Vondelstraat ,by the VondelKerk and Hollandsche Manege (an indoor riding arena)...heres a link to Fly by Nights menu page ...It appeared to be a reggae shop, heard some tunes we'd never heard ...was comfy , we got a strain called High Rize-Which we understand is the original name for Master Kush ...don't see it on this January menu ...but we enjoyed our visit and would return (of course I'd return to most ANY CS ...)

Yep,I'll second Tweedy. They've got a few outdoor tables and very close to the entrance to Vondelpark.Their White Widow was very tasty in April...
Dont bother with t'tjuinture (sp) on Overtoom, unless you wanna grab and go.Its not a very nice place to sit in...

Or the Blue Lagoon on the Overtoom. Nice Blue Neon makes it easy to spot across from the middle west entrance of the Vondal park. I like Tuintje myself at the End of the Overtoom. Also don't forget Coffeeshop 96 on the way to the KL. It's on the left just after you cross the bridge. If you were on a bike you would be within 10 minutes of over 100 shops.

I also like 't Tuinje. A nice quiet shop with friendly staff and a free-standing bubbler juke box. It has some nice comfy seating downstairs.
