Sorry to put this thread in the "Strain" section but I know most of you check that area of the forum the most and im in desperate need of advice. I just got a call back from Best-Buy and I have an interview next wednesday June 10th, I know I will have to submit my urine the following day if things go well in the interview so I was wondering, do you guys know if I constantly drink fluids from now till then will my body be detoxed? Ive been smoking almost everyday for the past like 6 months up until a few days ago when I found out about the drug test.

Any tips help, and no im not gunna use a friends piss or buy a detox thing so be straight up and tell me yes or no and if so what is good to drink to detox my body.

aghh fuck, that just sucks, I guess I can kiss that job good buy, or maybe ill try getting someone elses piss and doing the gooch hold, who knows it could be done

ok, now that sounds wrong, but we have tested and proved it.
when drinking water and doing sports and living healthy, the thc will be released from your fat-cells and you will have more THC in your blood, so when you dont have much time until the test you should eat fat stuff....if you got enough time of course choose the healthy method.

I can't believe this invasion of privacy and human rights is acceptable. Un-FUCK-ing real. I'm sorry, but there isn't a job at Best Buy that I couldn't complete after smoking a 5-paper joint. The funniest thing is, they probably won't check your urine again during your career there.

i'm not from america, but i wouldn't think a bit of cannabis in the system would be a massive problem? You're not signing up to he police force or anything. I would probably detox from now til teh job anyway, eat fatty and sugary foods (this always seems to sober me up when I'm caned. Perhaps it's absorbing THC somehow. Or u could try going to a sauna?)

simply put, this stuff works...get the MAXIMUM STRENGTH, buy a test kit and give it a trial run

The method I have always used is to drink about a gallon of water within an hour of the test. The main thing is drink until your urine turns clear. If you have high volumes of water going through your system everything gets too diluted for them to get any positive results. At one test they dipped in a test strip and told me "My you are quite hydrated!" To which I replied "I work in a warehouse and drink alot water at work." You could spend money on a bottle of detox of some sort, but read the directions most of them tell you to drink the bottle followed by 4 or 5 bottles of water. The main thing the detox bottles do is add color to your urine.

the stag do idea is great though, if you can confess that some will be in your system due to a legitimate reason (no matter how illegitimate the lie is) then it shows your honesty and will go in your favour perhaps

you should be ok. They exxaggerate on the time frame it stays in your body. Are you thin? It will definately clear out in less than a week, but if your really worried, there are head shops that have cleansers. The problem with these are that alot of companies actually test for them also. good luck.

Actually, the cannabinoids do stay in your body for some time.

Fortunately, cannabinoids are only very weakly soluable in water. Hence, cannabinoid concentrations in your urine (which is mostly water) should be negligiable. A blood test would be another matter, but I'd tell them to fuck off if they want a blood test.

I suspect the tests will be "screens", or broad-based tests, and not substance specific tests. The screen tests have higher likelihood of false-positive results.

You could stall the drug test for a few days (tell them you have a few other interviews lined up) and then go in a week later. Then on the day of the test drink shitloads of water and have several pisses before the test and drink more water before the test. If your piss is nearly water-coloured then you should be fine.

If, on the hand, you fail the initial test, inquire about false positives. Claim that you have NOT consumed any and then go for a re-test. If you have not consumed any grass in the interim you should pass any second test, if neccessary.

i smoked and passed a drug test 4 days later. I was drug tested by JFK airport for a job there.

I drank water like no other tho. i carried around a 1/2 gallon jug and chugged it. I was peeing every 30-40 minutes atleast. Also ur urine is more potent when you wake up so dont give them that pee. pee multiple times before you go in for your drug test. than when you get there pee for a few seconds and than give them whats left.

Being thin myself...i'm curious...supposedly thc leaves my body quicker because there's no fat cells for it to hang out in...yah? so that would be a good thing when quitting weed...true?
