erm, now I know this is a cannabis-board and not a love-board, but I hope you really are prepared for this? your girl leaving 5 months....I remember this happenind with me and my girl 4 years ago, I mean we were very young but it was so hard for me in the beginning I had to go to a psychologist. ok now this is enough, I wish you good luck, 5 months and 50000km will show if the love is strong enough :) (our was)

i just want to double-check that you are aware of the document entitled How not to get hit by a bike

imho it is really important for the first timer to be aware of the dangers of amsterdam traffic especially bikes, so please please make sure your friend reads this document for their safety, thanks

have a great trip ...
