"Hi" everybody.

Post by dankston »

Hello all 8) . Just wanted to join and get a lil more aquainted. I will be landing at Schipol in July and will have about 5 to 6 hours layover. (plane lands at 7:05 am and leaves at 3:32 pm..) Im assuming this will be enough time to go into town and visit a couple coffee shops.. I plan on taking the train to Centraal Station and from there Im hoping my Garmin handheld will be able to help me navigate to Grey Area and Amnesia.. My thoughts is that it would be better to keep it down to just a couple shops instead of trying to see the whole city in that period of time.?. Maybe I will just play it by ear, however, any advice would be appreciated.

it is not far from the station to greyarea/amnesia and a pleasant walk

a gps unit can have trouble in urban areas because of the buildings and trees, so i suggest getting a map at least as a backup

grey area has good smoke but is difficult to get a seat sometimes, also it does not open until 12 noon

amnesia has good smoke too and should be easy to find a seat, but i don't know the opening time

that area of town is pretty and there are lots of little streets to wander around so your idea of finding some smoke and staying local sounds just right for the time available

barney's uptown is a good smoker-friendly bar for a beer and a smoke

enjoy your day ...

ps i have added this opening times list to assist with the planning -

Hi and welcome!

Have a good trip and that should be enough time to visit a few in the top section of the map (Around central-Dam square). You will be lucky to get somewhere to sit in GA so that trip will probably be for take-away.
enjoy

Thanks everyone! Yes I am stoked about finally getting a chance to go and enjoy a day. I am going to take up the advice and bring a printable map that I have found and will probably buy another there.. Im hoping to obtain smaller portions of multiple strains and hopefully will be able to find a glass bong to use at one of the shops. Thanks again for the warm welcome!! :) Thanks 67!
