Cannabis Tea
Ive made stem tea before at home, we filled a metal strainer apparatus that sits in the liquid (we used milk because the fat would help release the THC) with stems, a shitload of stems and let it sit in the milk for like 30 minutes heating up. We drank it after and it had awesome effects I was having an awesome body high and the giggles like I havent had in ages, it was also great too because I drank it at the tail end of a mushroom trip so it made the coming down merrier!

WRONG: Eating cannabis pure, without prior soaking/heating in a fatty substance or alcohol, will do very little!this is not right. you could eat cannabis pure and it would knock you out. it just takes longer to kick in, because your body has to dissolve the cannabinoids itself instead of putting it into butter or something else that works....
Reason: The cannabinoids are not readily absorbed otherwise.
Cannabinoids are lipophilic, and will readily dissolve in in fatty substances, such as heavy cream, butter, ghee, olive oil, and so on. Cannabinoids are also soluable in alcohol, but you will want to use strong spirits (i.e. 75+% alcohol) for this to work well.
Hippyman is correct: Cannabis tea is made by heating heavy cream (or butter/ghee) with cannabis in it, and then adding this cream to the tea. If you simply pour boiling hot water over cannabis and let it steep, then you will get a cannabis flavoured tea drink, BUT you will NOT get high! Reason: Cannabinoids are NOT readily soluable in water!

I find that the effective tinctures (a.ka. "green dragon") have a really strong cannabis flavour.
So much so, that unless you down the tincture, you're gonna be sipping a freaking nightmareishly awful tasting beverage! (Unless, of course, you love the taste of concentrated raw cannabis!!
)
I usually mix my green dragon with some Scotch and water (tinctures will cloud up in water, a neat process) in order to make it more palatable.
