Great report mate, makes awsome bed time spliff reading! wets the appetite for my next trip. after reading your I may do a travelogue on my next trip. you may or may not have made it to AF house when you read this, its worth gettin there early and going round while its quiet. I found it quite emotional (i know i know!!), but the experiance was lost due to a french couple who's six kids (yes six!) decided the secret annex was perfect for hide an seek!! enjoy your trip mate!

If in doubt, have a spliff

Hooked up with Cisco today for about 3 or 4 hours on the patio at Basjoes.

No Terminator in stock and not likely for some time.

Talking with the budtender he says he couldn't believe it at 4/20. his stock for the entire year was gone in weeks.

Not likely to see anything any time soon he says.

Great time today with Cisco, love that Bas Special, smoked 4 grams on the patio, and needed a reload when the wife finished her shopping trip.

more later!

just another quick note about today... literally have just awoken from a couple hours snooze. things have finally caught up to us today. the sun was fantastic and not a cloud in the sky.

only two stops total, first the day began at Homegrown Fantasy, Cheese 0.8g x 2 for 20e. smoked one on the patio and enjoyed the free internet.

bought AND smoked 8 grams of Bas Special as well. top shell smoke and a real fav.

tomorrow will be our final day in town... looks like we'll try to snap some pics around town on bikes of our fav shops. should be hitting Basjoes, HGF, Barneys, MY, Little, Dolphins, Rookies, 420, Dampkring, BEN, and a couple others.

just a quick update while taking in the afternoon...

it is our final day in amsterdam, flight out at 7am tomorrow morning, so hitting a couple choice shops.

first stop before breakfast was Barney's for 3 grams of Red Dragon... missed this buzz... it's been a day or two i think... across the street for the breakfast and then off to finally find Grey Area.

found Grey Area and what a treat... the budtender was really cool dude... chatted for a short bit and told him about taking 10 days to finally find GA... bought 1 gram of Grey crystals, 2 grams of Martian Mean Green and 1 gram of Equatorial Sativa.

Equatorial was just an absolute beauty of a rip for a smoke. no buds, like the Dr Grinspoon from Barneys and Quazar Haze from Amnesia. these are all great smokes, and the Equatorial was my fav now of the three... but you can't go wrong on any.

anyways we grabbed a seat, surprising how much is jammed into that little shop... i love it. lots of character.

rolled the gram of ES in one fatty it barely filled, but a great great great great smoke... very uplifting and put a big smile on both the Mrs and myself... another 'arosing' weed ;) ;)

bought two more grams of the ES at 16.50e a gram = 33e + 62.50e on the previous purchase for 92.50e!!!!

this day is shaping up to be a BLOW OUT!!!! :)) :))

headed off to Sanenmanerterang or whatever it's called, but were very disappointed about the set up. i was hoping for a real local feel and it DID have that, but TOO local unfortunately for us... it felt stuffy... too bad because we were hopeful of having tea and resting...

onto the tram and back up to Homegrown Fantasy and 2 x 10e bags of Sour diesel. i like this smoke, very relaxing and it's also allowing me to focus right now on typing.

anyways, thats it for now, off to grab a bite of food... more later...

looks like i'll be staying up right through to our flight out... hummmmyeahh....!

Which Bas Special was it you got? He has 2, and Indica and a non-indica. the indica is a proper kicker, very stoney and strong.

It's good to hear you enjoyed the Equatorial so much. The only reason we want to stop in at GA is to pick that up and maybe some Greyberry.

Oh, and couple of t-shirts to make people back home jealous :D

Was it super crowded in there?

Hey TwoCanucks, thanky you very much for your report here. Like others suggested(hope it's not to late as you will fly tomorrow): what about trying one of the jelly hashes at one of the Bushdocters?!
If you can't get any of the terminator of Basjoe's this is an good alternative  .
Whatever, enjoy your final day in town :D .

you know it was never mentioned there was two... i asked what was kicking today? and was shown everything starting at Bas Special. budtender said he liked Bas Special so gave it a whirl... was very lifting at first, but the more we smoked the heavier our heads got... was burning it 1 gram at a time in kingsize rizlas!!! yum yum!

btw soulrider, cisco and I thought we saw you coming out of Basjoes yesterday afternoon... meant to yell out!

i'm not sure if i mentioned it, but after we sat down the budtender came over and said 'what will you be drinking?' and i'm thinkin we had to buy drinks since the space was so tight. coke and looza and then he said, 'on the house, please enjoy!' now that's service! he bought the guy on the bong a drink too,., one for the entire house!

made for a memorable start to the day. also, the place was jammed when we ordered weed, so we stepped outside intending to originally leave, but two tables immediately emptied! bonus!!

more later

Nice! The way people put GA down has made me consider skipping it altogether. It's quite encouraging to hear that you had a great experience there, though. We'll definitely have to stop by and form our own opinions of it.

Super glad that you two are having so much fun :D
