god Damn Landlord!!!!!!!

Seriously I'm soooooo pissed at my landlord right now.
Since I'm heading back to the States and then to England until July 31st, plus my contract ends on july 31st as well, I needed to extend my contract...
I called the guy up on monday to ask him if this is possible. Now mind you this is a month and a half in advance... sounds reasonable right? So he says fine it's ok. Whew... great... one less thing to worry about right?
WRONG!!!!
So the asshole shows up on tuesday to talk with one of my other roommates, and proceeds to barge upstairs and into my room. He starts criticizing how horribly messy it is and how nasty the bathroom is. (Mind you my room was a bit hectic because I was in the middle of organizing my clothes and things for the trip...but nothing obscene... it was cluttered)
He proceeds to yell at my dutch roommate as well and then say that I need everything out of here by July 31st when my original contract is up. No if's and's or buts......
so we clean up the room and bathroom... took oh say... 20 minutes? 30 minutes? sounds like a real fucking mess huh?...
Fucking hell!!! So I tried to call him back today and explain the situation when we both had calmed down. I had my dutch roommate call actually because the guy had bad english. I told him how the room was spotless, I wasn't in the country for work and only needed a few days or weeks extra and I would pay for the extra days.
nope..... no such luck... he wouldn't budge... even when he heard my reasoning he said "tough luck, it's your problem deal with it..."
so yeah.... i'm in a little pickle right now. I'm not going to be in the Netherlands all of july, so it's really tough to search for an apartment....
sorry bout the rant....
