I'm only just learning, and my joints are a little bit ugly at the moment. But I keep rolling... there's something really nice about smoking a joint in the Vondlepark or wherever. Much more relaxing for me than smoking a pipe at home. So I'll persevere!

I go pure Americano style with a roach/tip European style I feel its the best of both worlds  and I like to make 'em kind of thin and long as possible. Just a personal preference, but i've read recently that thinner may be better cause the lower the heat the less thc is burned off. Means more rolling but I enjoy it. Also tyring to get the backwards rolling thing down only thing holding me back is lack of the most important ingredient.... the weed! forgot to add i use 1/4 Zig~Zags (the orange ones). 8)

A Smoking Blue kingsize
A roach/tip Euro style (necessary, it sucks to throw the last part away and to breath 'crums' of weed)
Weed with about 1/3inch of a cigarette of tobacco (which is almost nothing)

I roll using those 'Glass' branded papers, they are the clear cellulose papers, not to be confused with the nasty coloured spin-off versions introduced in the last few years.

On the back of the packet it states:

"Unlike Brazillian clear papers which are made from harsh burning wood fibre, our clear paper is tree-free and made from smooth burning Asiatic Cotton Mallow"

The Brazillian papers they are referring to are assumed to be 'Aleda'.

When smoking pure joints the Glass variety burn really slowly and have absolutely no flavour, they serve one purpose only: to keep the weed held together.

I dont roll backwards but cut the width of the paper down to whatever size I am rolling at the time, if I wanted to use the whole paper I would need 2 grams to fill it. I dont do this too often but it sure would be a fat one tho!

I went to a friends house last week and he sorted me out a nice joint, I stuck it in one of those small blue rizlas (I used to smoke the slim blues for years). It occurred to me that not only could I really tastee the paper, it burned a lot quicker and whether I would have actually smoked less or not it sure felt like I did. I smoked the whole little joint in ten minutes when a joint of the same kind would have lasted a lot longer if rolled in my usual Glass papers.

I used to smoke the rizla blues back in the day, and zigzags (originals)... you're probably gonna love the ultra slim kingsize silver rizla more than the kingsize silver rizla IMHO.

Perfect for the size jay you are describing in that three paper. I hope they stock them near you, but you could also try ordering online...

Slim kingsize silver Rizla and a cardboard roach !
if smoking green it all depends i smoke mixed and pure ! if smoking a mixed joint i only put a little bit of tobacco next to the roach and then just a sprinkle up the length of the joint , maybe a Q of a cig !?
and i really want to learn how to roll the flaming back flip ! ie: inside out !

just the smae as a normal the only difference is you need slimmer papers and you do it completely on the other side of the papaer with the sticky bit facing you but on the bottom
