I have just registered to the forum and i just wanted to say hello to everyone!
A little bit of info about me: i'm a 24 years old girl from Europe with a love for Amsterdam. I've been there 14 times and about to go again in 2 weeks. I'm thinking on doing some live reports while on vacation, what do you think?

Yeah that's a lot, i fell in love with Amsterdam at the age of 17 and started going there like twice a year from then on. I will be moving there next year hopefully!

Definitely you can do a trip report whenever you want. We aren't too formal here. In fact since you have been many times before there is no reason that you can't share some stories that you already have.

I would love to share some stories with you guys, don't know where to start, my first trip was at 17 years old with 2 friends, went there by bus! 20 hours ride! But it was well worth it! I remember i was always worried that they would ask for my ID in coffeeshops and was forced to leave a couple of times LOL
My next trip was with my boyfriend and he fell in love with A'dam as well! Since then we started to go there twice a year.
We mostly buy our weed (we don't smoke hash) from Coffeeshop Centraal just in front of the Centraal Station, i love that shop and the quality of their bud, even though you're not allowed to smoke in there anymore.

I personally love Abraxas, all the Rokerij's except for the smallest one and the Greenhouses and Dampkrings as well, but my list would be endless if i named all the coffeeshops i like

If you want to know more just ask, i have some pics of buds and coffeeshops if anyone's interested. (i apolologize for my not-so-perfect english!) Bye

Hello fairy, i too fell in love with Amsterdam on my first trip, I was 16 though and my first trip was alone... I will NEVER forget the madness of that first trip, amazing days, happy daze even.

Like you i have been a regular visitor since, but unlike you I have managed to lose count years ago! I do know when I arrive in July it will be trip number 4 this year.

You will love this site! Loads of great info and a chance to talk and talk about your favourite city, my favourite subject (well subjects to be honest (weed + Amsterdam)). Hope you enjoy the place as much as i am... happy day!
