Are you stoned? Like a gravel road bitch, like a gravel road!
No, it's closed. But the address is useful incase you wanted to go have a look at where it used to be...
It's been closed for awhile now, somebody has started renovating it recently, but I don't think they intend to continue it as the absinthe bar. Tetra down the street used to sell absinthe but I don't know what quality it is. Search and ye shall find.

Absinthe bar
sorry for bumping up an old topic, but the information on the web is so confusing: is the absinthe bar closed or not? I'd love to go there, it looks so great...
Does anyone have up-to-date news on this?

I think one of the bars on Oude Leliestraat (the street where Grey Area is) serves absinthe. That info is a bit out of date, but I remember seeing a sign outside a bar there last summer that said: "Sober? We can help! We serve genuine absinthe!"
Hope that helps, like I said, that sign was out in August 2009, not sure if it's still around.
