Thinkin of takin a day trip outside the city when I am there. What is a good city/town to go to for coffeeshops? I am already planning to go to Zandvoort and check out Yanks, and definitely a trip to Haarlem as well.
I like to get really stoned so if someone could point me in the right direction to get the best bud I can that would be greatly appreciated!!!

Tilburg. Definitely Tilburg. The best shops outside of Amsterdam, less commercial than Haarlem, its a very young city, at least it feels like it, you feel very safe and they got quite a few things to see. its a nice city. I would recommend Toermalijn and De Muze, both top notch shops!

I'd say try Utrecht.
Just looked the train fare up for you, it'll cost you €12.70 for a rtn, takes about 30 mins.

Yeah Utrecht looks pretty good... and decently close so you can spend all day there.

There are a few good shops in Rotterdam too. Nice city into the bargain.
Its roughly an hour on the train and about 25 Euro return.
Worth a visit IMO.

Tilburg, seconded.
I like the Ochtendgloren (a Grass Company outlet), the Toermalijn and De Muze as well.
It's a quiet and well-ordered city, and the discovery of a coffeeshop in a long, relaxed street is like seeing the summit of some mountain after a long climb!
The Toermalijn has an amazing menu and a great garden. De Muze is really friendly and not far from the station.
Love this city: the 013 club has put on some fabulous gigs recently too, for the metal-minded anyway.

Yea that sounds like something I would like to do, people watching is a tourist attraction in itself.
Btw, Doc when I was in Edinburgh a few years back I went into this headshop and saw some of the best collection of glass I have ever seen, went back a little over a year ago and the place was gone... I was mad because I wanted to buy a nice bong to bring home. I was bummed but Edinburgh is a great city!
