shuttle bus from airport to dam and few other questions..?

Post by chillers2 »

hi guys
we usually take the train from underneath shcipol airport into dam, but i have heard theres a shuttle bus you can catch outside airport which takes you into dam,
does anyone know anything about it, if so can you pass me on the info, times, name of it, where to get it, how often, how long it takes to get there, the cost, where it drops you off????

also, anyone know of a cheap supermarket, we are self catering and would need to get a basic shop in, always eaten out before but with prices sky high wouldnt mind getting a few bits and pieces in, bread, milk, ham, eggs, that kind a stuff,,,,oh yes munchies too !!!

and while i am here....tobacco, we want to bring some home, are we best off with the small tobac shops in centre or is there aywhere that you can get it cheaper ? theres a few of us all wanting it, discount for bulk buying there?

thanks so much guys

http://www.schipholhotelshuttle.nl/site/home.asp the bus drops off at a load of hotels but you dont have too be stopping at one to use the service, just find which hotel is closest to where you're staying, all the info is on the website.

Albert Heijn is the local supermarket: Google map link.

Doesn't matter where you buy tobacco from the price will be the same so I'd just wait until you get to the airport.

hi
i found the prices, you only get them when you click a hotel, thanks for that, may still do the train, it can be a laugh and saves going to all these posh hotels, firstly cos of time, and secondly ours will seem a dump i know it after pulling up at that krapanosky !!

The Radisson-Sas hotel is the closest to Basjoe.

Edit: The bus just drops you off outside the hotel so you dont have too go inside.
