Hi guys, advice please...

Post by lampshade »

So I've moved into a shared flat until my single flat is rebuilt.

It started off with me, a girl and a guy in his 40's living here - we had partys every weekend and got on well.

Guy had to move out, so replacement girl moved in (friends with original girl).

First thing she does is knocks on my bedroom door, and asks whos rubbish is in the kitchen and if I can clean it up. To which I reply it's not mine. - No introduction, and the mess wasn't mine.

She then writes a letter to the landlady complaining about the noise me and my mates make, before consulting me about it. Her letter of complaint also included as a side note, that I leave dirty dishes in the kitchen and rubbish in the shared lounge area. = It's all rubbish

I'm tidy, and make less noise than her friends make during their partys.

Does anyone know of a way to get rid of this annoyance? I'm looking for a method to get rid of her without implicating myself to anything, thus no comeback.

Thanks! :D

'Nuff said, mate. ...Leave the money in a manilla envelope behind the third rubbish bin in the lane. :D

You could first ask the orininal female roommate about the new girl. (As in, "WTF is wrong with her?"). Then talk/mail the landlord to refute the accusations made against you. Third, after the first two things threaten legal action as you will not allow someone to slander your good name!

Finally, scrub the toilet bowl or sink with her toothbrush. :D

I'd probably be very blunt and tell her to fuck off.

Had the same issue man.

I tried to calmly talk to the person in question explaining that not all of the issues she was talking about were caused by me. But i have a right to do as i please in the house as i pay equal rent.

However that failed and i ended up blasting beatles music through the flat at 4 in the morning the night before she had a interview for a job, refused to stop and caused her an irratation. I was later asked to move out by the land lord. Despite being terribly fun, not the best way to go.

Talk to the landlord and let him/her know that the new person is causing a huge amount of isssues in the flat which previously did not exisit. Explain that your being un-fairly blamed and the actions of the person are making you feel personally attacked and un-easy in a place which up untill her arrival you felt was your home. Explain the same to her, while emphasing the point that your young and have a social life and a group of friends, if she does not this is not your problem. But you feel that your mates arent causing any huge disruption and are respectful. The house is never guna be a quiet relaxing place, thats what you expect going into a house share.

Failing that murder the bitch and burn the body.

Peace.

Maybe a cake as a sort of apology

Apart from that you could get them both pissed and get yourself some (You know) pics to assist in blackmail.

Like it... but if you're gonna crimp one off, spread the love around - instead of her shower cap, try taking off the shower head and easing one inside there. There's nothing quite like a brown shower! Hell, some people even pay money for that shit!

Haha thanks guys :D Some sound advice there. I've just emailed the landlord refuting her claims etc, so time will tell...

If it gets worse, I'll employ the turd in shower cap technique!

Get Trichome Dense to live with her for a week, she'll either shut up when you return, or move out b4

If her attitude changes, I might bang her but only if. She's a good looking girl too :).

I'll speak with TD about moving in for a bit, nice idea.

I got a quick reply from the landlord to my letter, who says she wants me to put up with it until my new place is ready...
