It's a couple of years since I've been to Amsterdam, and about a year since I've even smoked (I used to be a heavy hash smoker).

Im going to Amsterdam for the weekend of 24th, and will be with a mate who doesn't smoke, won't smoke but is cool with it.

Essentially, I'd like to know the best choices for

a) With my morning paper and cuppa

b) Before the inevitable saunter/bar crawl from lunchtime till 5

c) Turning out on the night

Weed, or hash.

Given my circumstance and previous (yet not recent) use and bearing in mind that the hash available where I live (North East England) tends to be a block of no-name (yet very nice and mellow ).

Any hints would be gratefully received.

**Staying at the Golden Tulip, looks on the map like I practically fall into 420 - good choice?**

420- one of the best choices in the city, imo

early morning- Grey Area Equatorial Sativa

afternoon- Green Place OG Kush laced with Stix Gunpowder

nightcap- Stix Temple Balls

a) Dude stick with outdoor for sure. The hash you scored may of been of low quality, you need to smoke some of the outdoor buds to let you know where your tolerance stands.

b) Deppens, i dont drink and smoke before i drink, but since your mixing probably something a little lower strength, presuming your handling the outdoor bud, you'll probably want some hash. I therefore present you with the pollen from Bluebird. As a rule, hash from bluebird is usually very good. For 5 euros for a smidge under a gram its good value as well.

c) Ill present you with some of the best hash i have ever graced my lungs with, Chocolata from Paradox, simply outstanding, probably strong enough to make it a hotel smoke if you havent been smoking regularly.

If hash is your fancy, make sure you grab some Nepalese Temble Balls when in town. Best from Stix or Willie Wortels in Harleem.

a) With my morning paper and cuppa I like chilling in Paradox, Extream, Magic with my paper and a brew. Dampkring on Harlemerstraat for my actual breakfast
b) Before the inevitable saunter/bar crawl from lunchtime till 5 Anywhere that takes your fancy, Try Basjoe and GreenPlace, they are on the same canal, therfore, easy to hit up back to back
c) Turning out on the night I personaly like the feel of Amnesia coffeeshop at nightime, although, thier herb is rather expensive.

Any hints would be gratefully received. If I were you, I would probably buy a regular Maroccan Polm to start with. Nothing too fancy. Once you have smoke that, you will be able to choose your next purchase with a bit more Knowledge. Maybe try a more expensive Maroc, maybe try a dark Hash. Dark hash, for me at least, doesn't have as nice a taste as a good Marok, but will give you a cool, sedative like stone. Remember, dark hash can also be a bit of a bitch to prepare for a doobie.

I tend to go a year at a time with none at all before getting back on the bus, as it were, but you're spot on - it's impossible to know just what quality you're getting.

No, we we're going over for my birthday jolly, he's a bit pissed off that there's no game on the Saturday which is our only full day, but there's a load of his mates going over who I can palm him off on

They are simply the shops where the product i am suggesting can be found.
