1 Day in the books in the Dam

Post by RealWeedSmoker »

What a first day in the Weed capital of the world. Rokerij III was the first stop... got 2 grams of the Jack Herer for about 20 euros and it was some damn good stuff. I would suggest the Rokerij III for sure... the amount of stock they had was great... they had everything on the menu!!! After that me and my girlfriend went for a walk that seemed to last for hours on end of virtually aimless walking as we were getting familiar with the territory, and in some cases having no clue where we were especially after walking in a complete circle (yes we were extremely lit). The 2nd shop we went to was the Bluebird and it was great because everyone was friendly, volcanos everywhere around the bar. Didn't buy anything here but met some american tourists who were there and ended up matching down on a nice fat blunt of the left over Jack, a tulip, and many rotations of the bong. After this me and my girl went to a Thai food restaurant which I cant remember the name of but had an excellent selection of thai cuisine and really hit the spot!!! Anyway I am running out of internet time here at the hotel but I will keep posting as often as possible.... HAPPY SMOKING EVERYONE!

Sounds like you're having a good time. Enjoy every second because as soon as you set foot on the plane you'll want to ge back to the Dam.

I love them lost stoned walks :-)

Bluebird is a favourite of mine, the Blue Cheese i grabbed hold of over 420 was a lovely smoke, however Rockerij III's barlady was a little rude when i was there in May, practically ordered us to buy a drink b4 we could even settle!!!

We never stopped in any of the Rockerijs for a drink, just purchases. Is this the one with the basement bud counter? If so, it's a pretty cool looking shop... but I did notice this lady tender when we stopped in. Glad we didn't stay for a smoke.

Yep, thats the one, South of the city centre, near the Busdoctor.... the budtender guy was pretty cool, having a laugh and joke with him, but the eagle eyed barlady was quite the opposite

If you're a fan of Jack Herer then try Basjoes, €7 or 8 a gram and a top quality smoke.

Anyone tells me I have to order a drink I just walk out, serves them right really as I near enough always order 2 drinks (1 for me 1 for the mrs) and at least a gram off the menu.

Good to hear you're having fun!

Nice to hear a report from a fellow Northeastern 'Merican (as George Dubyah would say), as well :D

Just got back last night from the Dam and yea I really didn't wanna leave.... sorry I didn't report anything as it was pretty expensive to use the internet at the hotel. My conclusion is this Amsterdam is the greatest place on earth... no questions asked. I enjoyed smokes from many coffee shops and even dipped into smoking some spliffs which me and my girlfriend enjoyed very much. Took a day trip to both Haarlem and Den Haag. Haarlem was a beautiful place with some nice shops in the area. Den Haag was nice but we didn't really like the shops there as they were very over crowded. Overall the trip was great and I am already planning another one hopefully for next march (cheaper prices).
