Lampshade's live report

Post by lampshade »

Yo guys, smooth journey here no delays and arrived early. Walking towards the airport exit I feel my feet quickening, my eyes quickly scanning the signs for directions to the train station. I arrive, walk outside centrum with a strange feeling that I'm on the wrong side of the station. Rubbish I tell myself, and follow the crowds of people.

2 mins later I bump into my hostel meetingpoint :). To my surprise the reception guy recognises me, shakes my hand and says welcome back Mark lol, it's been 6 months. Embarrased, I ask him for his name which happens to be Marco so easy to remember he says.

Up to the 4th floor (dammit!) to my bunk, to find someone's moved into my bed. Oh well, I locked my stuff away and headed to 36.

Ordered some weak starters:

Outdoor EUR5grm

Budtender advised it's weak. I sparked up half a joint, finished it and felt nothing. But then, a relaxed uplifting high creeped on - very easy to handle but enjoyable. 20mins later, still nicely high.

Zero Zero - Also Eur5grm

TBC...

...where was I...zero zero. I took what I thought was a small bong of this stuff, ended up coughing in the meeting point smoking room and felt a wave of "passing out" creeping up on me. Managed to stay conscious, but was thoroughly baked for a long time. Compared to the nice sativa like high of the outdoor weed, this one blew me away with an indica knockout.

Now to retrace the breadcrumbs. After that bong hit of zero zero, everything becomes a blur. I got my laptop out in the smoking room and started taking requests for tunes and various crazy youtube stunts. I know we* headed to 420 where the following was purchased:

1gr caramello EUR11 - Very very tasty as always, strong enjoyable high.

1gr something red EUR7 - not as tasty as caramello or as enjoyable, but still a better smoke than that knockout zerozero stuff from 36.

*There's a large group of young guys staying in my room at the meeting point, and various crazy dudes travelling alone who I met in the smoking room. We all got well baked together then headed out.

We left the 420 and went for a wonder, extremely stoned and speaking nonsense, strolling around the red light area laughing at the working girls coming on to us or buying food. I bought far too much food, including febo and macdonalds. I spent more cash on food than weed! :o

Called it an early night at 12, but the rest of them went looking for the weekly meeting point pub crawl and stayed out all night. I've just woken up, had a shower (strong and clean), ordered a breakfast and began chatting up the girls. There's so many hot girls at the meeting point! :D A nice one from Germany shared a white widow joint with me, she's not sure where it's from but it didn't have much kick. I'm now considering what to do as everyone's asleep lol.

I'll double check the red stuff from 420 with a bong (think it's lebanese?), surprisingly there's been a comunal bong, lighter and grinder in the smoking room for 2 whole days now...

Update on the red something:

Just checked the menus page, it's actually "Maroc red". I'm nicely high off it, but still prefer the more uplifting effects of the caramello, and the soaring highs of the hazes. Of which, can anyone suggest a good haze at the moment?

Maroc red vs caramello vs zerozero

It's all about the quality of high for me, not how battered it gets you, so I vote for the caramello. But don't get me wrong caramello is still a strong high, but just not as knock out as the zero zero. Just to confirm I'm going to take another bong of zero zero. It's 10 in the morning, so maybe not a good idea!...

Top stuff Lamps.

As for a good haze, S.S.H from MellowYellow never lets me down.
Silver Haze from Basjoe was very good last trip
Tasman Haze from Dampkring is usually a good bet too.
I would say get the Mex Haze, but recent reports suggest it aint that good at the moment.

Keep up the good work mate.
