imo i think the push up in prices is happening because everytime a coffeeshop pushes their luck, people keep going back to try it. There are buds in Amsterdam at 9 euro a gram that have given me a much better smoke than some of the more expensive stuff ive bought from Barneys etc. But people will never stop going to these places, i posted about this before and it was shot down, but its true, if you want a good proper coffeeshop experience dont go to the chain shops. The more people go, the more their going to take the piss, its lucky that theres shops which have a bit of morals about them and havent followed. Its shame to see this has happened to the cannabis industry, i always hoped ti would be the one business that was actually centred around the product and the people buying it, rather than profit.

Come on bro, dry stems could never weight 1/2 of the weight of a bag of weed, only if its damp.

So true... PLUS they don't weigh your weed then remove the stems. You either get it weighed with the stems or they remove the stems and then weigh it.

ALSO... as for 16.50e being too much... that's the price determined by the market... if it wasn't a good weed worth the price the market would stop buying it and the price would drop.

You've been moaning it's too high since Quazar first burst on the scene. Did you know the guy who sells this weed, there is only one guy who supplies every coffeeshop, charges €10g Wholesale price for the weed.

How the fuck are the coffeeshops supposed to make any money by selling any cheaper than they do, I mean, they selll weed for €14/g that they are paying less than €7g for, so they are making less money on the Quaze/Quazar/Equitorial Sativa than their other weeds.

It's a pure Equatorial Sativa. There is one operation supplying all the coffeeshops that sell this weed. Some of you guys will know, but for the rest of you, do you know how difficult it is to grow a pure sativa?

its really easy..ya plant a seed and then it grows and then i take a picture of it and then i smoke it,,,yup....it really is kinda easy...any questions...and i dont drink wine..a coffee with triple caffine please

The name alone will drive the price up, Cheese being the obvious example I'm pretty sure I've seen it on some menus at €14 a gram which is fucking ridiculous for a Skunk no.1 crossed with an Afghani.

the plants must yield hardly anything

I agree, the hardest part of these 100% sativas is the cure process from what I've read. it grows in 16 weeks... so you sit on it a little longer...

This weed is 16.50-17e a gram because it is a great high, it looks different, and it delivers on the punch...

Bottom line... smoke it if you can afford it... if not, then please continue complaining about the price.

Its got nothing on being affordable or not (costs me about £40 for a rtn flight) its being of the opinion its too expensive for a gram of something smokeable, I dont waste my money on iceolator hashes either.

I would say to everyone to try the weed, for 17E a gram it seems a bit too much to be smoking it all day, but 1 gram aint gonna hurt, and then you can experience the buzz yourself, when i tried it from barney's in May i found the high to be very clear and the taste and smell fruity

@Soulraider yeah I agree with you a 100% Sativa is hard to grow and the police look more on growers so it is more risk...
but the 16,50€/g strains on the menu of grey area are not all 100% Sativa... so Barney´s and Grey Area´s prices are so high at the moment... prices go higher and higher in one year maybe all high class weed cost 16€/g!

If it´s the best Weed you can get it´s ok... but for example Grey Areas expansive strains are not top everytime....

Because we're Brittish and maybe if people did complain about it the prices wouldnt of sky rocketed.
