Got some Blueberry from Old Amsterdam on the reccomendation of a post in the strains forum. It's a beautiful smoke..

Also picked up some Cheese from Mellow Yellow, it's nowhere near the cheese from HGF, which I will get more of today.

Saw 'State of Play' at the muntplein last night, very good film despite the presence of Ben Affleck.

Have spent most of the day in the Vondel Park, smoking joints and reading my book. Before that went for a walk around town picking up some smoke. La Confidential from Grey Area is beautiful, also got some more Sleestack. Picked up some nice melty pollen from La Tertulia, which is a lovely coffeeshop. Went to Green Place for some Headband which is disappointing. Also picked up some of Rookies' Amnesia Haze which is very nice.

That Sleestack looks just as frosty as I last remember it.

An excellent smoke, though I don't remember it being CLOSE to 16.50 when I sampled it back in April, does anybody remember how much a gram was before the bump in price?

I think it was like 13, that's a huge markup!

According to FBN's site, it's a 16.50e category weed!

I guess demand = higher price.

Still here and still smoking. Just been trying to spend as little as possible because I've extended my stay further still until Sunday. Got a fairly nice reduction at the Rookies which persuaded me to stretch the trip as far as I can.

I'm pretty chilled at the moment, just been strolling the canals and enjoying the nice weather, although today has been slightly less pleasant with a few showers but still nice. I've been enjoying the canals, (specifically in the Jordaan, and also around by the Nieuwmarkt) it's something that costs nothing and can give you hours of enjoyment just smoking and watching the world go by. I've been rolling a few joints and just chilling at the side of the canal with a newspaper. The money that I am spending has been on high quality smoke, and Maoz falafel for sustinence. Also been checking out films in the evening. Some might say it's a waste of time to see a film in Amsterdam, but I love movies and I especially love them when I'm high as a motherfucker so it's a perfect past-time when I'm alone in AMS. I'm going to see Public Enemies tonight, looks like a good one.

Been keeping it to what I know is good quality with the smoke. The OG Kush from Grey Area is the best stuff they have at the moment according to the dealer and from smoking it, I doubt he was lying. It's ridiculously sticky and has that strong cat piss scent and the crystals are literally piled on top of each other. The effects are a knockout blow, full on body stone and definately one for the end of the day,

The East Coast Sour Diesel, also from the Grey Area is another beast of a smoke.

Got a nice chunky 3g bud of SSH from Mellow Yellow, this stuff is so consistently good (and cheap!). Fruity, perfectly cured, crystals glistening, this is the one strain I will always go back for, and nobody does it better than Mellow Yellow.

This is a 2g bud of some G13 Haze from Barney's Lounge I have just picked up. I haven't smoked any yet but it's a beautiful looking bud...

Yeah definately, I always go to the cinema at some point during my stay i love getting as high as i posibly can with huge bud and hash spliffs then a space cake as soon as i sit down to enjoy the movie.. that usually lasts me till i get out... or puts me to sleep like last time when i watched tropic thunder... I do find its a little break for my wallet too, as i hemorrhage money while out and about in the Dam.

Good stuff, the pic is pretty sweet lookin!

WOndering what theater you see english movies in?

also, I was a little disappointed with MY SSH, but that batches we hit were usually end of stock dry, but always beautifully coated in crystals.

I wish we hit a fresher batch, sounds like most enjoy it.

Thanks for sharing!

The two Pathe cinemas near the Muntplein show English films, just with dutch subtitles. Pathe de Munt is the biggest one which is right at the top of the Vijelstraat and the Tuschinski is just around the corner toward the Rembrandtplein.

Public Enemies is a brilliant film by the way, everyone should see it.

Sad to say it has been my last day today. I'm heading off home tomorrow morning. I've put together a nice little package to stick in the postbox before I go. Fingers crossed I don't encounter any problems with the post services of Europe :? .

Took my Roor back and I wanted to pop in to DNA genetics but there was a film crew in there and I couldn't get inside the place. Anyone got any ideas what was being filmed? looked pretty professional but couldn't make out what was going on.

It's gay pride weekend in Amsterdam and it has been pretty nuts near the leidseplein today, the entire Prinsengracht was one big party/parade. It was so busy the trams couldn't move at all down the Leidsestraat for a river of pink for a little while. Those gay dudes know how to party.

Some brief smoke notes from today; Grey Haze for 10e p/g is bang on form right now, and a bargain at the price. Amnesia Lemon from Amnesia is something special and should not be missed (think it was 14e per g).

Got a strain called Sleaze from Mellow Yellow that is a dark green colour and smells like some really funky shit. Haven't tried it yet as it ended up in the package but I'd never heard of it before. Kicking myself for not asking the dealer for more details.

Anyway I'll be sad to go but at the same time I'm glad because my lungs need a break. I'm used to smoking entirely out of glass bongs with carbon filters and vapourisers so when I come to the dam I enjoy the joints but they take their toll after 9 days of coffeeshopping. Even the roor that i rented for the hotel room was noticeably harsher without the carbon added to it. My lungs will be glad for the break even if I won't.

Anyway I suppose this report is in the closing down stages. I'll be putting some more photos up when I get back and maybe some pics of the gear that hopefully will come with the postman.

Over and out.
